Certiport is thrilled that at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference, held in June in Louisville, KY, the top Technical Computer Applications students in the US competed for medals and as part of the competition took the IC3 Digital Literacy certification exams. Students who passed all three exams received their IC3 certification, the global standard in digital literacy verification.
“SkillsUSA works closely with our business and industry partners to ensure that the skills we are measuring in our competitions align with the skills that employers are seeking,” said Christopher Sessa, Career Cluster Chairman for Technical Competition.
“The objective domains of IC3 align directly with the goals of the Technical Computer Applications competition. Certiport and SkillsUSA share a common goal of ensuring that students have the technical skills to be ready for work. We’re excited to be involved with this amazing organization,” said Nich Haber, Global Leader for IC3.
