North Carolina High School Student Earns Professional-Level Autodesk Certification

Union County Public Schools in North Carolina has implemented a system for student success that includes Autodesk Certified User certification through Certiport.  Their plan includes specific road maps to success including preparation, a practice test, and a re-test if necessary, at no cost to students.

This week Sun Valley High School senior Angel Quizhpi-Vazquez became the first high school student in North Carolina to reach a fantastic milestone.  He had previously earned the Autodesk Certified User certification for AutoCAD and Revit.  By demonstrating exceptional dedication, motivation, and drafting knowledge and skills he became the first high school student to pass the Professional level of certification for Autodesk Revit.

“Getting certified at the professional level means to me that I have the skills needed to pursue a career in architecture, and puts me one step closer to achieving my career goals,” said Angel. “Without the Drafting classes and resources available with the SVHS Drafting & CADD program, and UCPS CTE support, Professional level certification would have been impossible.”

Congratulations Angel from the Certiport team!
