Today Certiport announces the 2015 Adobe® Certified Associate (ACA) U.S. National Champions. The winners will travel to Dallas, Texas to compete in the ACA World Championship from August 9-12, 2015. Students entered the competition by earning their ACA certification and submitting a design project they created using advanced digital design skills.
The U.S. winners are as follows:
- Abigail Zhong, Brooklyn Technical High School, New York
- Emerald Liu, Southwest Career and Technical Academy, Nevada
- Yahya Khan, Brooklyn Technical High School, New York
At the ACA World Championship, 35 student competitors from 18 countries are expected to compete to showcase their proficiency in utilizing industry-leading Adobe software for digital media development. They will participate in a real-world design challenge for Room to Read, a non-profit organization for improving literacy and gender equality in education in the developing world.
For their final design challenge, ACA World Championship student competitors will able to use Adobe Photoshop®, Adobe Illustrator® and Adobe InDeisgn® to create a project.
Winners will be announced at the ACA World Championship Awards Ceremony on August 12, streamed live from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. CST at www.certiport.com/gps.
